The "Itsutsubashi no Sato" hot spring consists of "Yugiri no Yu", in which you can soak in a Japanese cypress bath while gazing up at Iwakuni Castle, and "Asagiri no Yu", where you can look down upon Kintaikyo from a rock bath. The baths alternate between men and ladies each day.

The indoor cooling room "Hari" was constructed using wood taken from Kintaikyo when it was disassembled in the Showa period.

Iwakuni is a "joka-machi", or castle town, which yielded 60,000 koku (over 10 million liters) of rice for the Kikkawa clan. The room is named Joka-machi in reference to the location of the hotel in the castle town of Iwakuni Castle.
